 Dr Christine Green

Dr GreenMB, ChB, DRCOG, MRCGP (Qualified: Birmingham 1984)

 

Along with a colleague I am responsible for much of the practice’s medical care to our housebound patients. My other special interests are women's health (particularly continence problems) and the provision of annual health checks for those with significant learning disabilities. I have previously been a GP trainer and examiner, and have a role helping education within the practice.

 

When not at work I enjoy family life, gardening, cycling holidays and walking in the Wyre Forest.

Dr Iain M Inglis

 

Dr InglisMB, ChB, DRCOG, MRCGP, MSc (Qualified: Dundee 1983)

 

I have a particular clinical interest in respiratory medicine, ear nose and throat and travel medicine. I am the clinical lead within the practice for anti-coagulation, mental health, prescribing issues and vaccination. I also perform a number of different joint injections and procedures both for my patients and patients of my colleagues.

 

In my free time I enjoy travelling, gardening and help run the local village Film Society.

 

 

 

Dr Penelope Montandon

My clinical areas of interest are child health, antenatal care, osteoporosis and substance misuse. I am the lead in the practice for mental health. I have responsibilities for HR issues within the practice.

 

Outside work, I enjoy a busy family life. I also enjoy walking, gardening and travel.

 

 

 

 

 

Dr Simon Gates

As a Bewdley GP my main concern is to look after patients registered with me. And I am more than happy to try to look after any of their medical problems. I do believe that having one GP who see most of the time provides patients with the best care. However my main area of clinical responsibility is in orthopaedics I perform joint injections on knees and shoulders. I also have an interest caring for patients with strokes and atrial fibrillation. I also specialise in all aspects of men's health.

 

 

 

 

Dr Claire Sutton

 

Dr SuttonBM, Bs, BMED Sci, MRCGP (Qualified: Nottingham 1995)

 

My main clinical area of interest is rheumatology. This involves the assessment of joint pains and the management of conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and gout. I supervise the monitoring of methotrexate and sulphasalazine both of which are used to treat some forms of arthritis. I also perform knee and shoulder joint injections. My other areas of interest include ear, nose and throat and I am soon to embark upon a diploma course in dermatology.

 

 

 

 

Dr Matthew Davis

 

Dr DavisMB, ChB, DRCOG, MRCGP (Qualified: Birmingham 1998)

 

My main area of responsibility is in cardiovascular medicine which involves problems of the heart such as palpitations chest pains high blood pressure and cholesterol. If you have any problems in this area please come and see me. I also perform minor operations in the surgery. If you have any lumps and bumps that you are concerned about and feel may need cutting out then I'm the Dr. for you to see ( along with Dr Tamplin.) I specialize in all aspects of men's health.

 

I have a keen interest in most sports as well as the injuries sustained. I am currently undergoing further training in occupational medicine.

 

 

Dr Sarah Tamplin

 

Dr TamplinMBBCH MRCGP DRCOG DFFP (Qualified: Cardiff 2002)

 

Along with a colleague I am responsible for much of the practice’s medical care to housebound patients. Within the practice my main area of responsibility in the practice is dermatology; this involves anything to do with the skin. If you have any problems with your skin, rashes, moles, lumps or bumps please come and see me. Along with Dr Davis I perform minor operations in the surgery. I am also a trainer so am involved in the training of new GP’s within the practice. My other interest is in substance misuse.

 

 

Dr Rebecca Shand

 

Dr ShandMB, ChB, MRCGP (Qualified: Birmingham 1998)

 

I am a clinical lead in End of Life Care. I have a special interest in reproductive health, child health and the care of the elderly. I am qualified to provide a number of contraceptive services, including coils and implants. I also perform minor surgery such as cryotherapy, knee and shoulder joint injections.

Having come from a background of hospital medicine, working at Bewdley Medical centre has allowed me to develop my interest in gastroenterology – this includes all stomach, bowel and liver problems. I am the clinical lead for the practice in this area. I also have a particular interest in palliative care and care of our elderly patients.
